About me

Hello, my name is Henry Serrano, and I am currently a senior at East Texas A&M University pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communication and Leadership, with a minor in Agricultural Education. As a first-generation college student, my academic journey has been driven by a strong sense of determination, resilience, and a desire to create meaningful opportunities for myself and others.

Throughout my studies, I have developed a passion for effectively communicating agricultural issues, sharing industry knowledge, and building connections between producers, educators, and the public. My coursework and hands-on experiences have strengthened my skills in leadership, public speaking, and educational outreach, preparing me to contribute positively to the agricultural field.

I am particularly interested in using communication and education as tools to advocate for agriculture, promote sustainability, and support future generations of agricultural leaders. As I continue to grow both professionally and personally, I remain committed to lifelong learning and to making a meaningful impact within the agricultural community.
