This firepit I made was for a company I work with and they wanted something small and something easily to manage. For the drawings I used was Vcarve, with this system it allowed me to any adjustments to any of the designs also allowed me to freehand draw as well. Once, I finished drawing the designs I covered it into a DXF file (Drawing Exchange Format) file is an open-source vector file format created by Autodesk for universal sharing of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings between different software, supporting 2D/3D geometry like lines, arcs, and text, with this I was able to cut the material out on the CNC Table (Computer Numerical Control).

With the material that was used:

5 x 8 - 1/4 in sheet metal

1 x 1 - 1/4 square tubing

1.) This was more of a filler design since the firepit was a 8 sided shaped, it wasn’t going to look good if 2/8 was taken up.

2.) This logo originally had a barewire circle outline it was going to much of a small detail to draw up in the system it might’ve not looked like the original logo. So, with the permission of the owner of the logo I was able to modify it in the system without the barewire.

3.) In this picture, I drew a ring to go around the firepit as demonstrated in the video. In 7/8 sides I wanted to add the owners last name which spells out “Salinas” and on the last side I added when the company was Established.

4.) In this video it shows how everything came together with the actually base of the fitting really well to the ring that was made for it. The legs are holding it up consist of the end thats touching the bottom of the firepit slanted 45 degrees clockwise giving it that unique look.
